Rag & Bone's Latest Mural Is a Dedication to David Bowie

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

In case you haven't seen it yet, here's the latest mural to hit the Rag & Bone graffiti wall on Elizabeth Street: a gigantic portrait of David Bowie that's composed of over 900 words from Heroes and Fashion. According to the brand's blog, the image is based off a live photo from the 1978 World Tour, and artist Erik den Breejen just so happens to be a huge Bowie fan.
