The weekend just wrapped, but the brains behind the Hester Street Fair are already dreaming up the next one. Beginning this Saturday, the August Nights series will extend the Fair's hours to 10pm, morphing into an evening block party every Saturday of the month. An outdoor wine and beer garden, and music from DJs and bands, will be added to the mix of food and fashion vendors for your after-dark browsing.
And in order to give a love to the other half of the weekend, the Fair will once again host the LES Flea on Sundays through October 27th. Neighborhood residents can claim selling space for just $40 and sell whatever it is that's taking up way too much space in their tiny downtown apartments: designer wares, classic toys, antique furniture.
