Stressed out and cash strapped? A Forest Hills yoga studio can help—they're offering pay what you wish pricing for classes taught by recently-certified instructors. BambooMoves Yoga Studio owner Suzanne Scholten says it's a win-win: the teachers gain experience while people who might be priced out of yoga gain access.
While the suggested donation is a fiver, they'll also accept volunteer hours at the studio as a form of currency. Compared to the $20 price tag for a single class, you're looking at deep discounts for downward dogging. The pay-as-you-wish classes take place at 6am on Wednesdays and 5pm on Fridays.—Laura Gurfein
