After extending their holiday pop-up shop through April, Warby Parker has decided to make their Meatpacking District location permanent. Located at 819 Washington Street, the shop is a stone's throw from the High Line—and all that sweet, sweet foot traffic. The permanent location—which opens Saturday, July 27th—joins the recently opened Soho flagship as the brand's second Manhattan ground-level store.
While images of the space haven't been released yet, it sounds like the Meatpacking store will differ, visually, from the glossy Greene Street location. The press release mentions brick walls, concrete floors, park benches, and greenery. Eye exams will be available by appointment.
