We swung by the Ernest Alexander sample sale before the doors opened at 9am today, and found that the sale is full of great gear for guys. (Ladies, they have a lot of cool bags which would look good on you too.)

The bag section offers up nautical totes for $39 (originally $185), backpacks for $55 (which also retail for $185), and duffels for $58 (marked down from $195). You can also pick up some messengers for $49 (originally at $165), nylon briefcases for $65 (nicked from $225) and some awesome larger banker bags for $225 (were $595).

For small goods and accessories, they have iPad cases for $30 (from $90), shave kits for $38, and wax laptop cases for $68 (marked down from $120). There are socks priced at $9, belts for $25, bowties for $19, and cotton ties for $22.

All of the clothing is for guys, and they have tee shirts for $12 (marked down from $44), vests for $48 (instead of $225), and button ups for $49 (which usually go for $135). If you need jackets, there are denim blazers for $38 that normally retail for $295, twill jackets for $98 (instead of $355) and some heavier wax jackets for $198, marked down from $455.

They will be restocking the clothing, but all of the bags are out. It's credit card only and there are no fitting rooms. To get to the space you have to go through the 526 West 26 Street freight entrance that is marked with white and yellow signage. Go up the ramp and take the elevators to the tenth floor, suite 1001.—Mickey Sery
