As part of its continued plans for a national takeover, Uniqlo has announced today that it will be opening ten new stores in the U.S. this fall. In New York, those locations are the Atlantic Terminal Mall in Brooklyn, the Staten Island Mall, and the Smith Haven Mall in Lake Grove.
In addition to delivering a heaps of basics for men, women, and children to two of NYC's boroughs, Uniqlo will also provide tons of jobs. Per the press release: "To staff the new stores, Uniqlo will take on the ambitious plan to hire and train several hundred full-time and part-time employees at all levels."
No opening dates have been released, and there were no specifics on square footage, but we'll surely be posting plenty of updates as the time creeps closer.
