Daily Intelligencer has pulled together a handful of media reactions to the bright red and blue pants mayoral candidate Anthony Weiner was spotted in last week, outside of Stonewall and walking the Pride march. (They're referred to in quotations as the 'gay' pants.)

The Post captured a bit of the dialogue that ensued while Weiner was "[working] the Christopher Street bar scene, wearing bright-red pants, a white button-down shirt and a rainbow tie." (No word on whether or not he was wearing these guys underneath.)

"Here is the gay-straight divide. Straights say I look silly, and gays say I look amazing.

"How do I look?" Weiner asked a gay campaign staffer.

Without missing a beat, the staffer responded, "Well, your pants could be tighter."
