Alter's women's store, located at 140 Franklin Street right across from the men's outpost, is undergoing a big renovation. The shop will be closed for the next two weeks, but in the meantime, they've moved a selection of the merch over to the guy's shop. If you need the full fix, though, the Williamsburg spot at 407 Graham Avenue still has the complete range of women's clothing, shoes, and accessories.
As for that makeover, we're told that the shop's backroom will soon be opened up for retail purposes, bringing it to a total of 1,800 square feet (compared to the current 700). According to the email, "The expansion will have our store be one of the largest single women's shop in North Brooklyn." [Photo]
