If you're in the market for a leather jacket, the Veda sample sale might be a good option for you. At this young New York-based brand's showroom (five floors up, no elevator—don't say we didn't warn you), we saw leather jackets for $150 to $350 in a variety of hues. Blacks, browns, blues, greens, grays, whites—you name it, they have it.

Other than jackets, there's a very choice selection of dresses, shirts, skirts, pants, and bags, including leggings with leather detail for $50 and clutches for $50 as well. Prices are denoted by color-coded stickers, so you'll have to keep checking back to the charts on the wall.

And there's a bonus for paying cash: you save $25 if you spend at least $150. A sales associate told us that all the styles are out on the floor, but they have more sizes available. They're not planning any further markdowns, as all merchandise is priced to sell. But how much cheaper could you expect them to go? The sale is on through Saturday afternoon.—Laura Gurfein
