The Armoury, a menswear store born in Hong Kong back in 2010, has picked Tribeca as its first New York City store (the other outside of China is in London). According to the company's site, their mission statement is "to become a truly international men's haberdasher and the byword for service, craftmanship, and soul in men's clothing and accessories." As for what they carry, note that "The Armoury only associates itself with artisanal makers and producers."
Those are some pretty high standards, but they definitely picked a good neighborhood to work with. The Tribeca Citizen recaps: "Between J.Crew's Ludlow Shop, ManuelRacim, and now this, the eastern part of Duane Park seems to be turning into menswear central."
