We went to check out the line sitch at the Tory Burch sample sale at Clothingline earlier this afternoon, and were pleasantly surprised to find a short wait—about 50 people ahead of us. Though the guy managing the door had a one-out, one-in policy (briefly splitting pairs of friends), we were only on the sidewalk for ten minutes before going upstairs. And once we were in, we didn't have to jostle others to browse the racks—save for the shoes.
Though yesterday was a "madhouse," according to one Clothingline employee, it didn't seem to have an effect on what merchandise is available today. There are still plenty of shirts, dresses, pants, shorts, and more in every size (you can check pricing details in our initial review), and possibly more shoe shipments later this week. When we left shortly after 2pm, there was no line outside. So if Tory Burch is your gal, the sale is still worth hitting up—especially if you can go at off-peak hours. It's on through Saturday.—Laura Gurfein
