After Nanette Lepore's incredible archive sale back in March, we wondered if there would be enough new merchandise to stock her annual June sample sale. Well, we stopped by last night to take some pre-sale photographs, and the news is good: There is plenty of great new merchandise.

This time around, the clothing is divided into three different pricing structures: new production, old production and samples. New production includes spring and resort 2013 stock, which means a lot of designs are still in stores. These include many of this season's gorgeous mixed prints and brightly colored lace pieces. Jackets are $195, dresses are $145 to $175, pants are $125, and sweaters, tops, and skirts are all just $95.

The only exceptions to these new production prices are the leather items, with jackets going for $300 and shorts and skirts for $150. The steal of the sale, however, is Lepore's leather Wild Child Dress. This design—strapless with a sweetheart neckline—comes in powder blue or black leather. It retails for $898, but is being sold here for just $175. Although we spotted a fair number of them, we suggest that if you're interested you head over ASAP, because we doubt they'll be around long.

The category of old production includes spring and pre-fall 2012 stock, so expect to see some of those amazing neons Lepore did last year. Old production jackets are $125, dresses are $95 to $125, and tops, pants, skirts, and sweaters all range between $50 to $65.

As for the samples area, although you may recognize some pieces from their previous appearance at the archive sale, you'll also see a lot of newer samples making their sale debut. Nanette's sample sizes are usually twos, with the occasional eights, but be sure to try all samples on for size because they don't always run true. Prices of samples are extremely reasonable. Jackets are $65, dresses are $45 to $55, tops and pants are $35, and shorts and skirts are just $25.

Before you leave, make sure to check out the cute bathing suits and accessories. Suits are $30 for each separate or $60 for a one piece. The sale's accessories include jewelry, scarves, and lots of shoes and purses. We even spotted some bags and shoes we'd been smitten with from the designer's fall 2012 Fashion Week show. Bags run from $30 to $125, and runway shoes start at just $50.

The sale runs through Thursday, but be forewarned that there's a new configuration to the sales floor this time around. The result is that the dressing room is now somewhat smaller than at previous sales, so you may want to budget in a little extra time for your visit, just in case there's a wait for it.
