We're halfway through the La Perla sample sale at 225 Fifth, and there's still plenty of merchandise on the floor—and no lines at the door as of late this morning. Shoppers can find panties and thongs for $50 and bras for $80 in clear, labeled bins. But this sale is about much more than undergarments: there's lots of sleepwear in both lingerie and lounge styles, and there's a long rack of swimwear that starts at $80 for the brand's Studio line.
There's a small selection of ready-to-wear as well, with blouses for $150 and dresses for $180. Men are also in luck—they've got a couple racks stocked with pajamas and boxers. And with plenty of large price signs on the wall, there's no mystery when you head to the cash register.
With two days left to shop, sales associates told us that mostly everything is out on the sale floor, save for some Studio wear. While no final-day discounts have been announced yet, they haven't ruled out further markdowns on particular items if they are still in heavy supply. Regardless, you've got until Thursday evening to check it all out.—Laura Gurfein
