Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
TRIBECA—Treat mama (or yourself) to a new bag at the By Joy Gryson store with 30% off. The sale starts Tuesday, May 7th with a kickoff party from 2pm—7pm featuring an in-store lemonade stand from Bubby's and complementary flowers with purchase. If you can't make the party, don't fret: the sale runs through Sunday, May 12th. [Racked Wire]
EVERYWHERE—If you want to get a head start on Mother's Day, C. Wonder will spend this weekend helping you out. From 12 to 5pm Saturday and Sunday, all of the brand's stores will celebrate with a "Mom-O-Graph" event. Translation: a house photographer will snap your picture and the store will provide a branded floral card for the photo so you can send it off to your mum. Additionally, if you pick up two pieces of jewelry, you'll get 20% off your entire purchase. One for her, one for you—twinsies! [Racked Wire]
WILLIAMSBURG—In non-mom news, rockabilly haven SlapBack is hosting a lunch party for Project Runway alum Kenley Collins tomorrow. The designer—who was on season three as well as the all stars special—will launch her Pink Lady Collection at the boutique from 2pm until 7pm, but that's not all she's doing: her band Jetblack Bullseye will perform alongside a few other local bands. Check out the event on Facebook here. [Racked Wire]
