Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Park Slope will see a new home store early next week by the name of Items of Interest. Opened by interior designer Susie Kurkowski, the shop will offer a mix of furniture and home accents, with heavy representation of NYC-based designers. Expect a focus on distinctive furniture, contemporary design, and sculptural accents.
In addition to being your first stop for bird-footed side tables, Items of Interest will also offer interior design services. Furniture layout, paint color selection, lighting plans, and home organization are among the services on tap at the new shop, which officially opens Monday, June 3rd.
