J.Crew's Sample Sale Will Begin on June 18th

Now that Memorial Day has come and gone, we expect a lot of the sample sale stragglers to announce their June dates. Over the weekend, J.Crew was one of them: this season's sale will kick off on June 18th at 260 Sample Sale. The discount will cap off at 60% off, and will include markdowns on men's and women's clothing, shoes, accessories, Crewcuts, and a limited selection of Madewell.

Over the past few seasons, a lot of shoppers have commented that the deals aren't all that phenomenal. Though cotton and wool sweaters were priced at $35 last time around, Collection pieces still ran pricey (an LBD for $170 and a sequin blazer for $450). Despite that, the sale always draws a crowd. In November, roughly 150 lined up on opening day in the rain.
