BOOM: There's an outlet mall headed for Staten Island and it's armed with 340,000 square feet of sweet, sweet discount shopping. They'll call it Empire Outlets and it'll house 125 stores. Rumored stores include Coach, Restoration Hardware, Michael Kors, Nordstrom Rack, and Brooks Brothers, and the developer has made it clear that not all brands will be welcome. This is a classy Staten Island outlet mall. Head to Curbed for all the juicy deets, including the on-site hotel, green roofs, and enormous Ferris wheel.
