Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Housing Works' Open Air Street Fair returns Sunday, June 2nd for its seventh year running. Shopping, food, and live music will take over Crosby Street, outside of the Bookstore Cafe, from 10am til 4pm. Proceeds from the bazaar will help homeless New Yorkers living with HIV/AIDS.

Prices will start at $1 for donated books, records, and CDs. The Tumblr crew will go analog and curate a selection of books from Housing Works in the areas of art, music, travel, food, and fashion. There will also be seasonal clothing, shoes, and accessories from the Housing Works Soho Thrift Shop. And it wouldn't be an outdoor festival in New York City without grub, so fair food will be available from Coolhaus, Mexicue, Luke's Lobster, and Cemitas.
