The long-rumored, 4,300 square foot Intermix headed for the Bowery has an opening date: tomorrow. Expect a mix of brands like ALC, Equipment, Helmut Lang, and Yigal Azrouel to complement the edgy-gone-fashionable retail row. Store design has been registered with the Landmarks Preservation Commission, so the shop isn't going all Meatpacking District.
This marks the first in a series of summer openings for the Bowery. Both Patagonia and Anthropologie should open doors soon, while Rogan has thrown deuces on the district. On neighboring Bond Street, expect A.P.C. in July and a new outpost for Curve.
