Catbird's founder, Rony Vardi, has been wearing a vintage pinky ring on her knuckle since 1999. The super-thin ring got so many compliments that it was the inspiration behind what is now a best selling style at the Williamsburg store. Since 2006, the store has been known for jewelry that's dainty and personal, but in a statement-making way (one of the reasons they landed on our list of the top NYC jewelry stores).
