The Barneys Co-Op on the Upper West Side is one step closer to becoming a Barneys New York, now that its massive overhaul has begun. To recap the news that broke in March, the store will eliminate menswear from its offerings, and introduce high-end designer merchandise to the contemporary brands that make the cut.My Upper West Side snapped the photo to the right of the windows (which dramatically boast: "The Renovation 2013") and report: "For the now, the store remains partially open despite the renovation. The photo above only shows half of the space—the other side that's out of frame was doing business as usual."
