If you're anything like me (adventuresome and unpredictable), you probably know that streamlining your necessary objects takes the pain out of dealing with a crazier life. Sometimes it's cleaning out your collection of black pumps and only keeping the ones you dropped bank for. And sometimes it's loading your loyalty cards, Howard Schultz-signed Starbucks Gold Card, and fourth grade wallet-size photos onto your phone.
Your wallet is the first of these necessary things. There's also the fact that we Millennials and Gen-Xers are always throwing cash for plastic. Though I do wear bitchin' pumps sometimes, I'm primarily the Millennial wallet streamliner.
The Comme des Garçons 2-zip is the wallet that does it. The design has been around for a while and is considered a little traditional, but it's always been recognized as a quality piece. Not only is it the most efficient use of one piece of leather with one interior pocket, the leather itself is a high-quality Spanish grade and comes in seasonal colorways, patterns and embossed designs—making it all too easy to become a collector.
