Sample sales are often divided into two tiers: the mega-brand sales held at third-party spaces, and the multi-brand showroom sales that are often put on in much smaller locations with a wider array of merchandise to choose from. As the Theory sale rages on at Chelsea Market, Clothingline, and the brand's company store, we'd like to direct your attention to three other awesome sales happening this week, all boasting at least five different designers a piece.
Want Agency:
For two days only, the Want Agency will put merchandise from brands like Maison Kitsuné, Nudie Jeans, Swims, Arc'teryx Veilance, and Want Les Essentiels de la Vie on sale for up to 50% off. The discount isn't necessarily tremendous, but considering that most of the goods would cost you a pretty penny otherwise, it's worth stopping by.
Starts Wednesday, May 15th at 458 Broome Street [Dealfeed]
The News:
The legendary News showroom sale is a sample sale in its truest form. Cheap Monday jeans are usually priced at just $20 and $30, and in the past there have been pairs for just $10. You'll also find goods from plenty of other brands, like Clu, Common Project, Sacai, and more.
Starts Thursday, May 16th at 495 Broadway [Dealfeed]
Aloha Rag:
Most of the merchandise at the last Aloha Rag was samples from the house line, though there were pieces mixed in from Alexander Wang, Nicholas Kirkwood, Rick Owens, and more. This time around, the shop is advertising discounts on similar high-end labels, like 3.1 Phillip Lim, Acne, Balmain, Carven, Jil Sander, Margiela, Proenza Schouler, Saint Laurent, and lots more.
Starts Thursday, May 16th at 545 Greenwich Street [Dealfeed]
