Just like they did back in 2011, WWD has recapped the street style from opening day of the Comme des Garçons archival sale. They also spoke with PopSugar's Justin Min, who was the first person lined up at 3:30am. He told the paper, "I took the day off from work. I really want some of the plaid shirts that they dripped in ink. I'm not really into the crazy pieces. The proportions don't work for me."
Another attendee, jewelry designer Suzanne Golden, was in head-to-toe CDG, socks included. ("If Kawakubo made underwear, I'd buy that also.") However, the award of best analogy goes to a man named Victor Pump, who compared his red tartan blazer and yellow pants to food: "I think this outfit together is just like, 'Let me supersize my fries.' I'm definitely going to wear this to McDonald's."
