This month, the Upper East Side will get what it's been noticeably lacking: a Kate Spade store. On May 10th, the brand will open its third Manhattan store inside a retail townhouse at 789 Madison Avenue that was once home to Chanel's temporary store.
The location includes a 1,500-square-feet ground floor, a mezzanine and third floor, a full basement, and a two-level glass storefront, according to WWD. There's no word on the specifics of the decor, but we do know that the entryway for the store planned for the Upper West Side will somehow resemble a bow—something that shouldn't be too hard to top on Madison Avenue.
