There's no shortage of chain stores on the Upper West Side, but there are a handful of mom and pops that are thriving. Harry's Shoes and The Town Shop are among some of the oldest independent stores in the neighborhood, along with Zabar's, which has been on Broadway since 1934. [DNAinfo]
