Earth Day isn't until the 22nd, but local perfumer Bond No. 9 has already gotten into the environmentalist spirit. They've launched a green-themed limited edition version of their I [Heart] NY fragrance for April.
The scent also made an appearance last Earth Day, and did well enough that Bond decided to bring it back. A portion of proceeds will go to organizations that green New York, including one that helps clean up the city's parks. The unsurprisingly floral scent includes notes of lily of the valley, tuberose, orange flower, and "lush orchid."
Update: Good news for people who like green news: a rep for Bond No 9 informs us that the scent is now part of the permanent lineup. Even better, the proceeds to local green charities will continue all year long.
