Saint Laurent is coming to 80 Greene Street. A contractor at the site confirmed that the label is going to be moving into the clean, white storefront across the street from Kiki de Montparnasse. This is a change of plans for the brand, which for years had staked a claim to another Soho location on Mercer Street. (Those plans now appear to be scrapped.)
Maybe we shouldn't be too surprised, as the brand's logo has been missing from the construction facade for a little while. Now, it seems like that prime piece of real estate is up for grabs, after an eon of YSL drama.—Becca Endicott
