This week, Alexandra Jacobs stopped by Cynthia Rowley's boutique on the Upper East Side. Of the clothes, she writes: "The Cynthia Rowley who years ago collaborated with a former Times editor, Ilene Rosenzweig, on a retro-style guide called 'Swell,' with an accompanying line of ring-a-ding-ding domestic wares for Target, has hopped into her Spyder solo and floored the accelerator, leaving the casserole burning in the oven."
