The long-awaited Dolce & Gabbana Fifth Avenue flagship is finally here. The Shophound reports that it debuted quietly over the weekend, with plenty of "super-cordial and eagerly helpful staff" greetings its first slew of shoppers.
To recap, the store's been a while in the making: the first report of a potential store flourished in June of 2011, and after that, WWD wrote that it would open sometime in November. Construction appears to have delayed that a bit, or perhaps the brand just decided to opt for a springtime arrival.
Included in the decor are large velvet ottomans, gilded rococo mirrors, and Venetian glass chandeliers. See The Shophound's post below for a quick shot of the exterior, as well as a peek inside the men's floor downstairs.
