The Pixie Market sample sale was off to a busy start when it opened at noon today, and the small boutique was filled with cool chicks shopping for clothing and accessories. While there, we found some truly amazing deals: shoes for $20, and prices that capped off $40.
Flirty dresses and rompers are priced between $20 and $40, and a lot of the merch was really light and airy—just what you'd need to walk around the streets of New York in the sweltering August weather. Skipping ahead, there are also a few heavier blazers and sweaters to sift through.
There are a nice amount of bags, from tiny little belt bags to ones large enough to fit your towel and summer read in for the beach. And again, everything is either $20, $30, or $40—everything!
There seemed to be about 25 different styles of shoes on sale, many of them costing just twenty or thirty bucks. One of the highlights are a pair of python embossed and studded loafers by Matiko for $40, which were cool enough to warrant the extra 10 bucks.
Know that there are not a whole lot of pieces per style—more like two or three. However, we did find a small pile of floral bloomers by Brandy Melville for $20 a pair. Sizes really vary from style to style.
Another perk is that despite the tiny size of this LES boutique, there are two fitting rooms available for use. Restocking will happen over the weekend when the inventory begins to thin out, but the sooner you can get there the better. If the sound of $20 shoes and dresses is sending your senses into overdrive, leaving work an hour or two early today might be a good idea.
