Crunch has partnered with Nine West to re-launch their stiletto strength class. Once a shocking workout, now pretty much on par with the take-two-and-combine-them fitness trend (pole dancing, surf yoga, underwater cycling). What you do get out of the class is more than just, you know, fat burning and muscle building: you actually strengthen your body to adjust to walking in heels properly. Now there's some incentive.
The class has two parts. In the beginning, you do podiatrist-approved exercises to improve posture and strengthen the core. Apparently, the moves are, "tailored for the shoes of the season." In the second half of the class, you put on your favorite heels and strut your stuff (is that the cardio component?).
