Rogan Breaks Up With Bowery, Already Looking for a New Store

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Earlier this month, Rogan posted a break-up letter to the Bowery on its Facebook page, announcing that the corner storefront had closed and that the brand was already searching for a new location. In the meantime, plans for a summer pop-up appear to be in the works.

The letter goes: "I want you to know, Bowery, it's not you, it's me. You are going to go on to do such great things, I think that this will be really good for you. I will always remember our time together with fondness." Maybe Rogan was jealous of Bowery's new love interests: Intermix, Anthropologie, and Patagonia.
