Gas Bijoux, the fine costume jewelry brand founded in France back in the '60s, has just opened its third and largest U.S. shop on Elizabeth Street. The boutique soft-opened last month, but now that all of the merchandise has been settled in, the store will celebrate its official grand opening this week. In addition to housing the brand's own collections, the shop will also carry handbags, footwear, swim, candles, fragrances, and other gifts and accessories.
The new location joins two other Manhattan outposts: one nearby on Mott Street, and another on Columbus Avenue. The former Bleecker Street shop has since closed, but the store owners, Marnie and Pascal Legrand, are still the same. The couple also previously owned Blue Bag, which is now the new home of Gas Bijoux.
