Courtshop Is Relocating to Mott Street With a Big Ol' Sale

Courtshop has resided on Mulberry Street since 2008, but on May 1st the boutique will relocate to 168 Mott Street. The move, which spans roughly two blocks, also coincides with the release of the spring 2013 denim collection. In the meantime, all past season Courtshop jeans are on sale for $50, and shorts are going for $40.

When we spoke with storeowner Nicole Tondre this past summer, she explained that the original location initially needed a lt of work: "This is a weird in-between block, but we got a great deal. When we found this place it had no windows or anything. It was a gut renovation, it was a dump, but I knew I wanted the Nolita/Soho/Chinatown area." Looks like she's decided to keep the neighborhood, but trade up on the space.

Nicole elaborated:

After five years on Mulberry we are so excited for the move to Mott. (Goodbye Feast of San Gennaro.) Currently our design studio for our Courtshop denim line (which we wholesale to about 60 doors in the U.S. and abroad) is on Canal Street.

This new larger space on Mott allows us to house all operations under one roof for the first time! We are excited to be able to interact with our customers more on a daily basis. Our customers inspire us and we like to keep on top of what they are loving, what fits they are after, and how their Courtshop jeans are wearing and working in their wardrobe. We are constantly working on our fits and washes, and having the feedback of our core customers is invaluable.
