On the heels of an Opening Ceremony collaboration, a sample sale, and some unplanned uproar with the Humans of New York blog, DKNY has just launched a pop-up shop in Flatiron. The store, at 168 Fifth Avenue, opened this past Friday and, "look[s] to build off the success it has had with a similar project in Los Angeles," WWD reports.

The pop up has been designed for the Flatiron District's work day shopper who might stop in briefly on her lunch break. Merchandise includes a mix of off-the-runway looks, DKNY Pure, and denim. The brand's president of retail, Carol Sharpe, told WWD she expects a silk camp shirt, a simple tote handbag, grommet sneakers and jeans to be popular. However, they be changing the merchandise depending on how shoppers react to the assortment.
