We've always loved the Project Runway episodes where the designers were tasked with creating clothing out of candy. Now, former Runway-ite and All Star Kenley Collins is creating candy clothing for the real world—sort of. She just dressed a mannequin in a colorful Peeps top she designed for the window display of It'Sugar on the Upper West Side.
And this isn't the first time the candy store chain has commissioned Kenley to create her stylish retro ensembles in edible form. She also fashioned a mod-looking top made out of gummy bananas and a skirt made out of jelly beans for their Delray, Florida store. Kep your eyes peeled for more of Kenley's tasty fashions when the It'Sugar chain opens new shops in Noho and Coney Island.
