Sandro and Maje have already made big names for themselves in Manhattan's increasingly French retail scene, and now it's time for the third sibling, Claudie Pierlot, to give it a go. WWD reports that the brand will launch at Bloomingdale's in Soho and on 59th Street, where its sister stores already have their own special shops.
The company plans to open the shops a year ahead of schedule, perhaps to ride the wave of Sandro and Maje's tremendous success in the states. And according to the article, if all goes well at Bloomingdale's, Claudie Pierlot will seek out its own free-standing store somewhere in New York.
However, that's not the only tidbit of news tucked inside the story: Sandro's fifth Manhattan store will be located on Columbus Avenue, and is searching for a flagship location near Mercer Street and other stores in Flatiron and Williamsburg. Maje, we'd assume, would probably follow suit, as has been the strategy so far.
