Century21 sent out an e-mail this morning announcing an interesting new partnership. The discount department store invites cosmetics brand M.A.C. to, "join forces to open a new store." The address listed is 22 Cortlandt Street, Century 21's existing Financial District location, so maybe by "new store" they mean "new shop-in shop."

Whatever the logistics of the outpost, it sounds like it will be a full-fledged M.A.C. experience. "Your favorite artists, personalized service, new collections, and all the products you love," can be expected at the April 9th reveal. Both the retailer and the makeup brand enjoy huge cult followings, so more than a few people will go ga-ga for this partnership. In Manhattan, M.A.C. has six of its own stores and is available at Macy's as well as both Bloomingdale's locations.
