Guys on the Upper West Side lost their department at Barneys, but the fellows of the Upper East Side are getting expanded digs across the board. Reporting stellar response to their namesake menswear line, Saks has plans to expand the collection to three lines: Black (slim, casual), White (tailored, classic), and Platinum ("couture outerwear"). Accordingly, the men's space within select stores—including the Fifth Avenue flagship—will get dedicated shop-in shops for the added merch come fall 2013.

Meanwhile, Bergdorf Goodman recently announced that they're ramping up their men's offerings as well. The main floor at BG will see additional luxury accessories for the guys, while the second floor will be redesigned with dedicated space for six major menswear brands. Upper Westies, it might be time to cross the park and check out the increasing options on Fifth Avenue.
