The very first Swarovski Crystal outpost to open in Brooklyn will do so the third week of April at 484 Fulton Street. The shop will reflect Swarovski's Crystal Forest retail design concept, meant to highlight the "the infinite possibilities of crystal." In short, it'll be extremely sparkly: the exterior will include a stainless steel prism, there will be two Crystal chandeliers, and showcases will include LED lights.
According to a press release, now was just the right time for the blingy brand to take advantage of the neighborhood: "The recent revitalization of Downtown Brooklyn stems from the expansion of residential units and new hotels in this area, along with an influx of college students, which in turn is capturing the attention of major brands, like Swarovski, to develop in this neighborhood."
