Park Slope menswear boutique The Gentlemen's Shop is looking a little femme. Park Slope Stoop reports that there are dresses in the window of the shop, and that women's apparel and accessories line the left side of the store. The reason for the sudden change? Their sister shop, La Vedette, closed.
Brands on offer include Ark & Co., Esley, Under Skies, and Sweet Rain, with prices in the $60 to 120 range. Park Slope Stoop compares the goods to nearby boutique Habit, in terms of style and inventory. Most importantly, they ask whether the store needs to rename or not, now that they carry skirts and bowties.
