Alibi Traded Its Nolita Store for a Nomad Showroom

Unfortunately last week we found out that one of our favorite jewelry stores, Alibi, had quietly closed. Luckily, owner Jo Lui reached out to let us know that they relocated to a space at 236 Fifth Avenue early last month. Located above street level, Alibi has turned to the showroom experience that we've seen a number of retailers embrace.

Jo tells us that the move was to focus on and expand their in-house line as well as to ramp up their online boutique. The selection in the new space is greater than at the Nolita boutique, and boasts private shopping experiences with snacks and beverages.
