Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Tribeca now has one more Steven Alan boutique to call its own: a home store located at 158 Franklin Street right near the brand's annex. Inside, you'll find everything from throw pillows to gardening tools, alongside an apothecary and Steven Alan's capsule furniture collaboration of made-to-order sofas with designer Jason Pickens.
Beyond Alan's own designs, the shop will also carry glassware from the Brooklyn Glass Studio, Auntie Oti home goods, furniture by Garza Marfa, and ceramics by Shino Takeda and Small Spells. The shop is light and airy, and guaranteed to be a hell of a lot quieter than Ikea.
