Your iPhone does so much for you, doesn't it deserve a trip to the spa? The Mobile Spa is a new "luxury" cell phone store coming to the West Village and stocking all kinds of extravagant goods, like Swarovski Crystal cases which start at $3,000. Because why shouldn't the thing that protects your smart phone from vodka-fueled recklessness cost more than your rent?
If you do wind up cracking your screen, you can have it fixed for about $75 in under an hour. Owner Fawad Lakhani isn't new to this game: the 34-year-old Pakistan native owns two other electronic stores on the Upper West Side. His other locations don't stock the opulent goods that the Mobile Spa will, like custom phones by British company Vertu—materials include real snakeskin and gold plating—and $200 leopart-print crystal designs.
