New York City has more stores than anyone could physically tackle, but somehow we always keep returning to the usual suspects. To break out of the rut, we've asked some local shopping and fashion gurus to provide their hidden retail gems—those unique stores around our fantastic city that we might not all know about. Cue the Beatles: We're about to get a little help from our friends.

Leah Park is the co-founder of Vaunte, an innovative, editorialized e-commerce site that allows its members to purchase designer merchandise found in the most-coveted closets of today's top fashion insiders, socialites, and tastemakers. When her work day is done, Park needs to relax—so she hits up this hidden Chinatown spot for a killer massage.
When I need a last minute massage after a long day of photo shoots and meetings, Fishion Herb Center is my secret spot and savior. Don't expect lush bathrobes, ambient music, or scented oils. Do expect fuss- and frill-free accommodations, certified acupuncturists, and one hour massages for 40 bucks. It's the real-deal, genuine Chinatown spot for natives in-the-know. My almost favorite part is the walk down the tiny alley (which is hard to find) and the sign—"legitimate massages only"—gets me every time. The icing on top is getting a huge scoop of handmade ginger ice cream after from Chinatown Ice Cream Factory, which is just around the corner.
