Raf Simon's first collection for Dior arrives in stores this month, and to celebrate, the brand is launching a promotional attack from all angles. In February, several stores across the globe will debuted special Dior pop-ups, which includes the recently-launched space inside Jeffrey in Meatpacking.
WWD writes that the shops include "window displays, special furnishings, photo exhibitions and even a playlist of electronic music by French DJ Michel Gaubert, the installations—some measuring several hundred square feet—are slated to last for up to three weeks."
But Jeffery isn't the only New York retailer that Dior has its sights on. In addition to its new Dior women's boutique and a beauty shop, Bergdorf Goodman will also participate in Diorapalooza with a set of windows in March.
Bergdorf president Joshua Schulman explains: "Our commitment of the full bank of Fifth Avenue windows—along with the new shops, events and marketing—signifies the important and growing partnership between Bergdorf Goodman and Dior." That's not a bad looking pair of BFFs.
