Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Should you be out and about tomorrow craving a dairy-free, gluten-free cookie, Karlie Kloss has got you covered. The supermodel will be joined by Momofuku Milk Bar pastry chef Christina Tosi, who collaborated with Kloss on "Karlie's Kookies," to hand out their Perfect 10 cookie from an American Express-sponsored truck.
You can follow the truck's location by tracking the tag #AmexMakeMyDay, but basically the truck will start at 11:00am at Lincoln Center, down to Milk Studios, back up to Lincoln Center and down to the Standard Hotel, wrapping up around 3:00pm. The cookies are regularly available at Milk Bar and the sale of each provides ten school meals to children through FEED. AmEx will cover the donation-portion of tomorrow's giveaway, providing 31,500 meals to children in need. In summary: supermodel, cookies spelled with a k, free for you, kids in need get meals.
