Seven New Moscot Frames to Up the Throwback Ante

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Moscot, purveyor of archival eyewear, has launched a spring collection of metal-framed glasses and sunglasses. Seven new styles launched January 18th, and each comes with a little family backstory. For example, we were told: "The 'Bella' is named for Great Grandma Leba, whose stunning good looks compelled admirers young and old to sing out "Bella" whenever she walked (ok, shimmied...) down Delancey Street."

The collection is priced from $255-$285 and is available at Moscot shops as well as online at the brand's website. Click through the gallery above for a look at the new styles, and keep your eyes peeled for the 'Jacob,' which we hear "makes everyone look hot. Really hot. We promise."
