This week, Alexandra Jacobs stops by Sweaty Betty in Soho, and the new Athleta in Flatiron. She writes: "Sweaty Betty's Soho store displays endearing British eccentricities, like a gray cable-knitted tea cozy of a sweater (Covent Garden Cape, $175) ... and a set of pillows with words printed sternly: 'Go to the Gym.'" "Compared with the retro and rather hyper Sweaty Betty, Athleta is spa-like, with blond-wood floors, rattan chairs, flattering sconces and generous cuts." [NYT]
